The ENERTOWN team is gearing up to deliver a series of training sessions focused on topics aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability. The sessions will be conducted through a collaborative effort between experts from the ACSD, ECERA, and partners from Servelect, in various towns in Cluj County, including Câmpia Turzii, Gherla, Huedin, and Turda, during the month of September 2023.
These sessions aim to empower participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to address pressing energy-related challenges in small urban areas across Romania. Participants to the training sessions were identified throughout the Stakeholder Mapping stage of the project, ensuring representation from public authorities, private entities operating in the energy sector, and civil society organizations.
With an emphasis on custom-tailored training, the ENERTOWN project seeks to equip stakeholders with practical solutions to improve the quality of life in these communities by tackling energy-related issues head-on. These training sessions are an important step towards building competencies at various levels and facilitating a transition towards a more sustainable energy future.
The project “Energy Education for Sustainable Urban Areas – ENERTOWN” is funded by Innovation Norway through the Norwegian Grants 2014 – 2021 (https://www.innovasjonnorge.no, Working together for a green, competitive, and inclusive Europe), under the “Energy Programme in Romania,” with funding of 195,774 EURO and a grant value of 174,696 EURO.
